How much should you sell things in a garage sale?

I've done a few for my mom. She's a real estate agent that sold houses where everyone left stuff behind. A dollar or two for the clothes and shoes, about the same for knick knacks and stuff. People that go to garage sales usually go very early on a Saturday. It was worth it to me to price things low and be done with it all by noon or a little after.
