Curious about my friend and Carl Jung?

My friend has a pattern of telling whoppers, I think this may be another. She's been a fan of jung's work for a while and claims she has all his books. But when I mentioned the red book in ping she had no idea what it was. I changed the subject but she kept saying that she had all of his books and that she had never heard of a red book. Is the red book something that a lot of people didn't know about or should a follower of his matterial be aware of it's existance, even before it was published. I found out about it a few months before it came out and have been looking at it today. However I'm not a huge Jung person. The book however is amazing.
