I need books to read while I'm on holidays?

I'm 16 and I'd really like something intense and with some romance in it. Romance doesn't have to be the main focus but I'd like it if there was enough of it in the book. Maybe something dark even? Like The Hunchback of Notre Dame- sad and emotional. Thanks in advance.
