I have topaz colored curtains and i want to paint my wall brown...?

I love the topaz and brown - the white dresser and the bedding should help to offset the dark paint. I would accent the bed though instead with lighter colours drawing out from the bedding. Might be too dark otherwise with the walls and floor. Some brown but the majority topaz or other lighter colours. Having said that I just did my son's room with Behr Paint "Cup of Cocoa" and he has dark blue bedding with dark wood floors which makes it very masculine looking.
