Although spamguard is on, I am inundated by spam in my yahooinbox. What can be done?

I tried to report some as spam, but the addresses from which they are sent keep on changing, leaving me no option but just to select and delete them. Is there any way to get rid of these unsolicited mails. Most of them deal with drug sales or humungous prizes or related information on web sites.
