How do you become a master manipulator?

I want to be able to manipulate the system like a sociopath. I am apathetic towards people but not towards animals. I only want to manipulate so I can get a superb job while only doing half the work. Also in the info about a sociopath, how does one manipulate so expertly that they do not even have to do the dirty work? It doesn't make any since but yet it sounds possible for a sociopath. It would seem employers for powerful positions like working as head of a financial corporation or something would catch a manipulator and want to know more about his background. How do they do this?
