What kind of panties would be the most hygienic ?

I prefer wearing miniskirts instead of short shorts at home in where I live with a temperature around 25-32 degrees right now during the summer. For the time being I'm living with my parents. So I need to know if nylon or cotton or polyester panties would be better for me to wear under my miniskirts at home. Or would it be best to wear nothing at all under miniskirts in this heat ? I just feel a bit uncomfortable adjusting my skirt every time I sit and having to make sure to cover my bum ( if i don't wear panties that is ).
